Kar kay vichhoday dee gal kittay rula na deivin,

Jay tun russ gayi tay saadi jind mukk jaani,

Kittay dukhan nu saadi kismat bana na deivin

Darr si saanu samundran daa
Doab ditta saanu kinaareyan nay

Dhup ton dardeyan nay raat labhi
Doab ditta saanu taariyaan nay

Koi ikk maarda saanu tan jarr jaanday
Par saanu maareya vaari vaari saariyan nay

Begaanay maarday tan hass kay mar jaanday
Par maariya saanu jaan ton piyaareyan nay

Chareya rehnda c tere pyaar da suroor kade,
Hunda c sanu teri yaari te garoor kade,


Maar diti thokar sanu gali de rode vaang,
Socheya nahi c tu hovega ena magroor kade,


Haar gaye han dil hathon aaj asi tere karke,
Zindgi vich hoye nahi asi ena majboor kade,


Kyon banaya tu tamasha yaara sade sache pyaar da,
Mileya tan eh tanu pucha ge jaroor kade,


Bhave tod geya sade naal tu yaari aaj,
Par hovega na yaara sade dil ton tu dur kade.

Eid di fajre murh na aaya

Zindagi de din thorre reh gaye
